Level Up is a performance tracker for referees and umpires. Below you will find our legal disclosures and data-use policies.

Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

  • Account information: email address and display name when you sign up.
  • Match data: sport, role, level, self-ratings, notes, and related details you voluntarily log.
  • Goal data: target levels, progress notes, and completion status you enter.
  • Subscription data: plan status and billing period information (managed by Stripe).

2. How we use your data

  • To provide the core match-logging and goal-tracking features.
  • To sync your data across devices when you are signed in.
  • To generate personal performance reports and insights.
  • To manage your subscription and billing.

3. Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely via Lovable Cloud (managed backend infrastructure). We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Your rights

  • You can export your match data as PDF reports.
  • You can delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
  • You can access, update, or correct your profile information from the account menu.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to maintain your session and preferences. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising or profiling.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Level Up, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Use of the service

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Level Up.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree not to misuse the service, including attempting to access data belonging to other users.

3. Intellectual property

All content, branding, and software provided by Level Up are the property of Level Up and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without written permission.

4. Disclaimer

Level Up is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted. Performance insights are generated from your own self-assessments and should not be considered professional coaching advice.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Level Up shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

6. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Terms of Sales

1. Subscription plans

Level Up offers a free tier with limited match logging and a Pro subscription with expanded features. Pro subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis through Stripe.

2. Pricing

All prices are displayed before checkout and are subject to applicable taxes. Prices may change with notice to existing subscribers.

3. Billing and renewal

  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription from the account menu at any time.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

4. Refunds

Due to the digital nature of the service, refunds are generally not provided. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us within 14 days of the charge.

5. Downgrades

If you cancel Pro, you will continue to have access until the end of your paid period. After that, your account reverts to the free tier. Data logged while on Pro remains accessible, but new entries may be subject to free-tier limits.

Analytics & Data Use

1. Third-party analytics

Level Up does not use third-party analytics trackers such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Plausible, or similar services. We do not track your browsing behavior across other websites.

2. Operational data

We do collect limited operational data necessary to run the service:

  • Lovable Cloud: Our backend infrastructure handles authentication, database queries, and data storage. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) are retained for security and debugging purposes.
  • Stripe: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Stripe collects billing information necessary to process transactions. See Stripe's Privacy Policy for details.

3. What we do not do

  • We do not sell your data to advertisers.
  • We do not build advertising profiles about you.
  • We do not share your match or goal data with third parties except as required to provide the service (e.g., our backend provider).
